BAY MINETTE - No. 22 Shelton State Community College baseball team piled up 26 runs and 25 hits in a pair of run-rule wins at Coastal Alabama South on Saturday.
The Bucs scored seven runs in the fifth inning of game one to complete the 15-4 win in five innings.
The onslaught continued in game two as the Bucs scored six runs in the first inning and four more in the second for the 11-0 win in five innings.
In addition, the Bucs drew 13 walks and stole nine bases.
Shelton State (35-12, 24-4 ACCC) has 16 run-rule wins and have posted at least one against six of the seven ACCC opponents.
Freshman catcher Drew Ollis paced the offense in game one, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs. He had an RBI single in the third inning, a two-run single in the fourth, and an RBI single in the fifth. Jo
Freshman left fielder Owen Anchors, sophomore right fielder John Robicheaux, and freshman centerfielder Cody Kropp all had two hits and two RBIs.
Anchors two hits were both doubles.
Sophomore second baseman James Graphos added two hits and scored two runs.
Sophomore first baseman Jackson Henderson and freshman DH Glavine Lamberth both had three walks and scored three times.
Tyler Delvecchio gave the Coyotes a 3-2 lead in the first inning with a three-run home run.
The lead was short-lived as Robicheaux put the Bucs back in front 4-3 with a two-run single in the second inning.
The Bucs scored seven runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by Kropp's two-run single and Anchors' two-run double.
Freshman Tanner Hermesch (2-0) tossed four innings for his second win. He allowed four runs on six hits, with four strikeouts.
Sophomore Kenneth Diddell worked a scoreless fifth inning.
The momentum carried over into game two ax the Bucs led 10-0 after two innings.
The Bucs scored six runs in four hits in the first inning. Henderson and Anchors opened the game with back-to-back doubles.

The Coyotes made three errors in the inning.
Robicheaux, Graphos and sophomore third baseman Slade Sullivan all had RBI singles in the four-run second inning.
Anchors solo home run in the fourth made it 11-0. He had three doubles abc one home run in the doubleheader.
Sophomore right-hander Will Harrison (6-3) posted his third complete-game shutout. He scattered seven hits over five innings with three strikeouts.
The Bucs will play their final non-conference game of the season at Bevill State in Monday, April 20 at 1 p.m.
