Freshman receiver/defensive back Shabreia Brannon, who hails from Phenix City, says that laying a solid foundation for the first-year program is the key to success.
"It's a great opportunity being a part of the first team and to lay the foundation for the program," Brannon said. "We are off to a good start and there are many great days ahead."
Sullivan said the offense had been a work in progress but that the Lady Bucs are getting more comfortable with head coach Doug Rogers' system.
"It's definitely progressed better," Sullivan added. "We were a little rocky at the beginning. Now we are seeing everyone develop, run better routes and know the playbook a little better."
