Lady Bucs Sign Prattville Star KeLeigh Mullens
Shelton State Women's Basketball is thrilled to announce the first signee of the 2026 class, KeLeigh Mullens.
Mullens currently stars at Prattville High School where she has her Lady Lions ranked #7 in Class 7A, the highest classification in the state of Alabama. At Prattville, Mullens is coached by former Lady Buc, Erica Edwards DuBois, who just recently reached the 100-career win mark in just her 6th season leading her alma mater.
"KeLeigh brings elite athleticism and an innate ability to put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor," said head coach Madonna Thompson. "Signing a player that has been coached by someone who has been through our program is special. I have high regard for Erica, and I know the program she has built at Prattville is first class and KeLeigh will be prepared well for the transition to college basketball."
Mullens recently surpassed the 1,500-career point mark while earning back-to-back All-State honors (2023-2024). She was selected to the Class 7A South Regional All-Tournament team in 2023 and was selected to participate in the AHSAA North/South All-Star game where she posted 7 points and a game-high 6 assists as she led the South to their first victory since 2016.
