Bio
Assistant Coach Collin Hardy is set to begin his fifth season with Shelton State Community College Women’s Basketball.
In his first four seasons, Hardy has assisted the Bucs to a 119-16 record with four top 12 overall finishes in the national rankings and a runner-up finish in the 2025 NJCAA National Tournament. Primarily working with the post players, Hardy has overseen the development of six Division I signees (Troy University, Jacksonville State University (x3), Old Dominion University, and Texas Tech University). Hardy also leads scouting efforts for the Bucs who have boasted a top ten team defense in the nation in each of his 4 seasons.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Hardy served as a student manager for the Bucs during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons. Since joining the Lady Buc program, Collin has been a part of 5 ACCC conference championships.
A native of Etowah County and a graduate of Glencoe High School, Hardy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Hardy is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Leadership and Practice from the University of North Georgia. Hardy is engaged to Sydney Colburn of Tuscaloosa.
